We want this site to be usable by every prescriber and patient who needs it, including those using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or a magnified display. This statement describes what we have done and how to tell us when we have fallen short.
Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in the guidance courts have generally followed, and it is the one we test against.
What We Have Done
Every form field has a label that is programmatically associated with it, and every error message is announced rather than only coloured. Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring that is never removed. Tables used for data are marked up as tables with scoped headers. Status changes — a saved draft, a submitted form, a failed upload — are announced through live regions. Motion is decorative only and respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
Known Limitations
Product photography is decorative and carries short alternative text rather than a full description of the packaging. Uploaded documents — a licence or a certificate sent to us by a practice — are not remediated for accessibility, because they are supplied by third parties and viewed only by our own staff.
Tell Us
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, write to us at the address below and tell us what you were trying to do. We treat an accessibility report as a defect report. If you need information from this site in another format while we fix it, ask and we will send it.
